Belay is an innovative app designed to allow parents to securely share their child's essential food allergy information with various caregivers such as teachers, coaches, babysitters, grandparents, and more. The app ensures that caregivers can access crucial details 24/7 without the need to download the application. Instead, they receive an SMS text message containing a link to the child's profile, which is saved directly onto their device's home screen.

Developed by a team of allergists, scientists, engineers, award-winning designers, developers, and parents of food-allergic children, Belay has been specifically crafted to reduce stress and anxiety for parents, enhance the safety of food-allergic children, and raise awareness among caregivers.

The key features of the app include listing the child's food allergies, providing a photo of where the child's Epinephrine-Auto-Injector is located, detailing safe snacks and meals for the child, offering a chef card for restaurants with the child's food allergy information, a customizable emergency plan, and pre-populated content on recognizing an anaphylactic reaction, reading labels, and ordering at restaurants.

Safety and privacy are paramount with Belay, allowing parents to revoke access to a caregiver at any time by deleting them from the app, rendering their profile inactive on the caregiver’s device.
